The baby kittens that play in the hay And chase their tails around all day The frisky calves that run on by With a glint of mischief in their eye. To stand in corn up to your knees And see the oats wave in the breeze To see the butterflies and bees And watch the birds up in the trees. The crimson beauty of the fall The corn and beans fill bins, so tall These things I love and pray each day The Lord will never take away. Each season has its ups and downs That makes us smile and also frown I'm so thankful for my life And proud to be a farmer's wife. Dear Michael and Kristi, I have just finished reading your poignantly beautiful book. I can't tell you how much it touched my heart. I found it inspiring, humorous, sad, stirring and encouraging. What a precious couple you are! You truly have wisdom beyond your years. The Lord has given both of you a marvelous gift of writing, and such warm and generous hearts, that I know you must bless all with whom you come in contact. Thank you for being so honest in sharing your mistakes, your triumphs and your tragedies. I'm sure the Lord has great things in store for you. Thanks also for the autograph which meant so much. Love and hugs and blessings to you both, Betty Jo Mings bmings@netzero.net http://members.truepath.com/BettyJoMings/ _________________________________________ Thought For The Day: "Example is not the main thing in influencing others. It is the only thing." --Albert Schweitzer Verse for the Day: "Christ suffered for you, leaving you an example, that you should follow in his steps."--1Peter 2:21 Kid's Thought For The Day: "You can't always be first." Parent's Thought For The Day: "We have been so anxious to give our children what we didn't have that we have neglected to give them what we did have." Coach's Thought For The Day: "Those at the top of the mountain didn't fall there." --Marcus Washling Deep Thought For The Day: "Somebody told me how frightening it was how much topsoil we are losing each year, but I told that story around the campfire and nobody got scared." ___________________________________________ REQUESTS: Hello all, I've been reading Heart Touchers(SFTH), for about a year now. I've prayed for many I do not know but will in heaven. I have a special request for my friend. My friends husband died five weeks ago. He left her broke and she's had to sell everything and ended up filing bankruptcy too. She lives with her mother now who is in need of help (80's). Last night her oldest son died. He was 41 I believe. She has no church family because her husband wanted to travel all the time and she was an obedient wife and loved her husband very much. She is hurting and I would like anyone who would just send her a card to tell her you hurt with her and God will work it all out to His glory. She is born again but very sad and I know she has no friends but my husband and I because they traveled so much. She is a delight to us. Please just send a card of sympathy or a card of cheer. When I told her I was praying for her she said tell God not to trust me so much...she laughed a little. Please send a card and thank you even if you don't. God's people are hurting everywhere and we are his hands, eyes and feet...we must reach out to the hurting. Here is her PO box. Judy Fulton PO Box 18974 South Lake Tahoe, CA 96151-8974 Thank you and God bless you according to his will, Linda ******** Dear Michael, I just wanted to say thank you to all the people that wrote me about my friend Florence. I appreciate their prayers so much and she was so touched that complete strangers cared enough to write. She is doing better. She has started her Chemo and is taking radiation every day. Her depression has lifted some and she is better able to cope with the situation. Thank you again, and God Bless you all. They loved it, to say the least! Within thirty seconds my mom was crying and my dad did too. They said it was the best Christmas gift we could have given them!! You did such a beautiful job! They were so surprised and so touched--they really, really, really loved it. Thanks for helping to make it so special to us all. My mom mentioned how the songs were perfect for the video too! Thanks again!" Kelli-- College Station, TX Let me make you a video from your pictures or home movies! Check out the web page for Michael's video production business!
